About me

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to visit my site. Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
Ever since I was a kid, I was making up stories in my imagination. This stayed a theme throughout my childhood, but as I grew up I struggled to find a way to express this passion of mine. That is until I started messing around with my mom's old digital camera. This led me on a journey to pursue film beyond a hobby and make it my career.
Through my time at college, I was able to dig into the industry of filmmaking and every year I was there I fell more in love with it. Now as a graduate of Taylor University, I have had the opportunity to hone my skills and become a person dedicated to telling moving and impactful stories. Through one of my short documentaries, Wild Winds: Spirit of the Bison, I came to love documentary filmmaking and I think that film is a representation of that passion and commitment to documentary filmmaking. However, I fell more and more in love with narrative filmmaking when I directed a short film titled Dream Soda. This opened a new door of passion in my life that I can't wait to explore more of.
I have filled every important role on a film crew and gained experience and understanding in all positions, everything from director, producer, editor, grip, cinematographer, and to being a PA on both live and non-broadcast projects. Moving forward I aspire to direct, shoot and edit. I am a passionate and avid storyteller. Film is my way of telling stories that highlight the beauty of the human experience and the world around us.
